Thank You Superpawn

Xmas and Valentines Day means one thing for sure around Tucson. A store called Superpawn advertises the HELL out of themselves.

They are mostly targeting men looking to buy jewelry for wives and girlfriends. Commercials show men proposing and giving an engagement ring they got at Superpawn.

I don’t know about you, but I tend to think that someone pawning an engagement ring is either desperate for money or looking to turn a bad memory/event into cash. The energy of both of these things is fairly negative. I can’t imagine giving a loved one something with that past.

Maybe that marketing works in this town, but I can’t think about the whole thing without feeling sad for a number of people.
