We loved the old eBay Toolbar, but the new one replaced a lot of our favorite features with Yahoo! features. Saddened, we solved that problem by building our own toolbar. The As Was toolbar will keep you connected to us while providing more eBay features than the old toolbar had. This toolbar is free, and works in IE and Firefox on Windows. We do not collect any information about you nor does the toolbar watch what you browse. You will love our toolbar!
"I installed the new As Was toolbar last week and it works better than the new eBay toolbar itself. It is outstanding. Not only is it a cleaner design but it works with no glitches and does not slow down nor interfere with my computers. What an improvement. The functionality is awesome. It provides everything needed to buy and sell on eBay on one nice bar and I love the customizable link feature to put in my own preferences! This toolbar will surely be a better alternative for both new and experienced eBay users. I am going to recommend it to my students as a "must have" third party provider tool!" - Richard Beck (eBay Education Specialist and traderbecks on eBay)
"I have spent some time exploring the As Was toolbar and I am impressed with the many functions installed. The Terapeak key word tool at your finger tips is great. My computer seems to shut down and boot-up faster. Thank you for this great toolbar." - Jim Sanderson (eBay Education Specialist and capt-jims-locker on eBay)
Here is how it looks and what it does. These screen shots are from Firefox, so the toolbar will look slightly different in Internet Explorer. The first screen shot is reduced to fit into this website design. The real toolbar is about 2" wider. We're always open to suggestions for future versions!

The As Was pull down menu quickly gets you to some of the pages on our website. The Resources area has links to our favorite tools and sites. Here is what some of the submenus do:

The search area of the toolbar searches eBay.com a few different ways. You can type your search text in and then choose from the menu how you want to search.
We use this all day to look at sellers, their Stores, to quickly jump from any web page to eBay items, or to start shopping.
This is what you get when you click to pull down "Latest Blog Posts." They are animated graphics showing the latest headlines from our Marketing Hall of Fame blog, our News blog, and eBay's Chatter blog.
Click on any of them to visit that blog.
