As Was Toolbar
We loved the old eBay Toolbar. The new one replaced a lot of our favorite features with Yahoo! features. Saddened, we solved that problem by building our own toolbar. The As Was toolbar will keep you connected to us while providing more eBay features than the old toolbar had. This toolbar is free, and works in IE and Firefox on Windows. We do not collect any information about you nor does the toolbar watch what you browse. You will love our toolbar!
eBay Fee Calculator
Our fee calculator is a free Excel spreadsheet you can download (most recent version: 09Mar08 - includes the fee changes effective February 2008). You will need Microsoft Excel to use it (download the Excel Viewer for Windows if you need it). As eBay fees change, we will keep it updated and offer free downloads of new versions. Here are some of what it can do for you.
- Enter starting bid, quantity, and reserve price. Check off which upgrades you plan to use. Watch it calculate your eBay insertion and upgrade fees!
- What if it sells? Enter the shipping, handling, and insurance you'll charge. Enter the profit you make on that. Tell us how you charge sales tax on the item. Then, tell us how you're collecting the payment so it'll calculate your payment fees.
- Do you know what fees you pay to your credit card company or PayPal? It'll calculate those fees.
- Armed with your listing, upgrade, payment, and Final Value Fees, it can calculate your total fees. It even credits your reserve fee if you checked off that you're using a reserve. Learn what percent of your sale price your fees really are!
- Use listing management software? Enter those fees as that's an expense that cuts away at profit.
- Enter your cost of goods. What did it cost you to have that item to sell? The tool will calculate your total profit or loss.
- Want to know how much you would have had to pay for the item in order to break even on the sale? Enter 0 for the cost of goods. The profit the system shows is the break even number. If this is already negative, your idea may not really work for eBay. :)
- Compare whether you will make more money running an item as an eBay "core" item or eBay Store item.

EverySeller Research collects data from visits to your eBay listings, eBay Store, and provides reports on how many, when, and how. ESR can also track clicks on links you place within your item description, in your eBay listing template, in your eBay Store header, your About Me page, and even off-eBay web pages. Track any link with our Custom URLs tool, available at no extra charge!
